Our client, a leading private markets fund manager with a 20+ year track record, is looking to appoint a Fundraising Director. We are seeking a candidate with circa 10 years’ experience raising capital, ideally, for private equity and/or real estate strategies. Key attributes for this role include a passion for raising capital, a high degree of emotional intelligence and the professionalism and gravitas to act as an ambassador for this firm. Suitable candidates will have an established network of institutional investors, including family offices across UK and Europe and a track record of raising capital from these institutions. Individuals that are currently working in large asset management firms who are looking to transition to a pure private markets fund could be considered eligible if they can demonstrate prior exposure and interest in private markets or alternative strategies. You will operate as part of a small team in a collaborative, collegiate environment. Candidates should possess excellent academic qualifications and strong technical skills with the ability to present private funds credibly and confidently to sophisticated investors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a true leader in their field and contribute to their AUM. An interest in sustainability would be helpful but is not essential for this role.
