Full time, continuing position Lead service teams in the delivery of curriculum administration systems Offering a competitive remuneration package including 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Director, Curriculum Administration Systems and Services, you will provide expert senior operational leadership across teams managing curriculum administration systems including the University of Sydney’s handbook, calendar, curriculum pathways, unit of study collection and timetabling. You will lead transformative operational initiatives that enhance the student lifecycle and optimise curriculum administration systems while collaborating on an effective, collaborative partnership-centred service model with faculties, University schools, ICT and other stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: work closely with the Deputy Registrar and Executive Director (Curriculum and Policy), faculties, University schools, ICT and external vendors lead the Curriculum Administration Systems and Services teams and manage the service model, performance, development and workforce planning oversee governance, reporting and compliance across curriculum systems and services manage stakeholder engagement and promote service excellence across the University provide strategic advice and lead operational planning, budgeting and resource optimisation act as business owner of key curriculum technologies and driver of digital optimisation About you postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of training and experience demonstrated experience leading complex projects and large, multi-faceted service teams in a higher education or similarly complex environment extensive experience in developing and embedding operational service models, including embedding of partnership models for working with a range of stakeholders extensive team leadership and communications experience, including influence and building trust strong financial and operational management experience, including budget and workforce oversight proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and influence strategic decision-making understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance obligations in higher education experience in policy development, administrative procedures and service transformation high-level leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
