  • This position is responsible for leading the organization’s business intelligence strategy, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, actionable insights that enable data‑driven decision‑making across functions. This role oversees the design, implementation, and governance of analytics, reporting, and data solutions that improve performance visibility, operational efficiency, and strategic outcomes.
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team of business intelligence professionals, including analysts, data engineers, and BI developers; set priorities, establish goals, and drive accountability.
  • Define and execute the enterprise BI strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Product, Marketing, and other business areas to understand information needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, consistency, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in BI tools, methodologies, and processes to enhance scalability and self‑service capabilities.
  • Develop and communicate performance metrics and KPIs to track progress toward organizational goals and enable data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with IT on BI platform management, architecture, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to senior executives and operational stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Typically, 15+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data management, with 5+ years leading teams or complex cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling BI strategies, teams, and platforms in complex, data‑driven organizations.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
  • Proven ability to manage data governance, standardization, and quality assurance programs.
  • Experience collaborating with senior leaders to define and deliver actionable insights that inform strategy and performance.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive decision‑making through data‑driven storytelling.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience partnering with IT, Finance, or Strategy functions to align data infrastructure with business goals.
  • Background in implementing advanced analytics, predictive modeling, or machine learning capabilities within BI frameworks.
  • Certifications in relevant BI or data governance platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, DAMA/CDMP) are a plus.
  • Physical Requirements
  • This role may be performed in an office, remote, or hybrid work environment, depending on business needs and applicable work arrangements. Standard working hours apply, though flexibility may be required to accommodate deadlines or collaboration across time zones. Occasional travel may be required based on business demands.
