This isn't a traditional marketing role, nor is it a siloed tech role. As our first Digital Marketing Technologist, you will become the critical bridge between our marketing vision and our technical execution. You will be a full member of our Technology team, reporting directly to the Head of Technology, but will work every day fully embedded within the Marketing function. We have a comprehensive marketing plan and a suite of cutting-edge AI tools; you are the specialist who will translate that strategy into flawlessly executed automated campaigns that drive our growth. You will serve as the hands-on technical engine for the marketing team taking our existing plan and executing it by building and launching the necessary assets, including landing pages, lead-capture forms, and promotions for our video clips. You will be familiar with the concept of AEO and the importance of driving LLM traffic. We have an AEO playbook that we will expect you to apply but you will need to demonstrate awareness and success before now. Automate B2B Outbound Campaigns: Alongside B2C we have a rapidly growing B2B footprint. You will configure and operate our cold outreach platforms (Instantly.ai and Waalaxy) to drive B2B lead generation. You will be responsible for setting up campaigns, managing prospect lists and data, ensuring high technical deliverability, and connecting these tools to our CRM. You will be expected to master our marketing tech stack - though training can be provided. This will inc. our internal CRM, Mautic for automation, our B2B outreach platforms, and our suite of AI-powered creative and analytical tools. You will be expected to build and automate workflows Partner with the CEO and Head of Content to understand their strategic goals before translating those goals into effective, automated workflows, building everything from email nurture sequences to sophisticated audience segments. Enable AI-Driven Marketing Analytics Go beyond simple tracking. We don't want standard marketing-speak metrics. We want high impact, actionable insights. You will leverage our AI analytics tools to analyse campaign success, identify deep optimization opportunities, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for the marketing and leadership teams. AI Creation: Use our tools to generate the core assets: ad copy, social media posts, and a landing page. Technical Setup Build the landing page, create the lead-capture form, and schedule the promotional posts to drip-feed across our social platforms Analysis Monitor the campaign and report insights back to the marketing team to inform the next steps. The Ideal Candidate - Exceptional Communicator and Translator: Fluent in the languages of both marketing and technology. You can understand a marketer's strategic goal and translate it into a technical requirement, and you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with ease. - High Technical Aptitude: You have a strong technical background and a demonstrated ability to learn complex software systems quickly. - Excited by AI and New Technology: You are passionate about the potential of AI in marketing and are eager to master tools that are on the cutting edge of the industry. - Process-Oriented: You think logically and excel at turning a high-level idea into a structured, step-by-step process or workflow. - Eager and Fast Learner: You are deeply curious and thrive in an environment where you can learn from experts and build a deep, valuable skill set. - Experience with any marketing automation is a significant plus, but a strong capacity to learn is most important. What Success Could Look Like - 3 Months: fully onboarded, confidently administering our core marketing stack and successfully building and launching the assets for our marketing plan. - 6 Months: independently managing campaign execution and acting as the primary technical consultant for the marketing team. - 12 Months: become an indispensable strategic partner to both departments, recognized as the expert who successfully bridges our marketing vision with our technology platform to achieve key growth targets Reporting You will report directly to the Head of Technology, receiving technical mentorship and career development within the Tech team. Operationally, you will be fully embedded within the Marketing team—attending their meetings, participating in their planning, and acting as their dedicated technical owner. This hybrid structure ensures you have both deep technical support and direct alignment with business goals.
