Our RAFAKidz family
Just like our children, our waiting lists are growing! In each of our 21 settings we create experiences that are special, unique and child focused. Our staff are specially selected for their loving and caring nature, as well as their expertise. The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background or circumstances you could provide experiences and opportunities that will help them be confident and reach their potential.
About the role
RAFAKidz is one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF (Royal Air Force). Our nursery at RAF Digby, Ashby de la Launde, has around 140 children with spaces in continued demand, supported by a team of 30 employees. Our lively and vibrant Out of School Club has an additional 40 children attending before and after school.
Whilst some childcare or nursery experience would be desirable, we will provide a full training and induction programme for the right candidate! Our Play Workers responsibilities include ensuring safety for children on the walk to and from school and setting up an attractive and exciting play space ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met. A basic food safety certificate would be desirable as refreshments and snacks will be provided for the children. You will need to understand the principles of safeguarding children and be willing to undertake all development opportunities offered.
