We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dessert Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background in food preparation, customer service skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each dessert is not only delicious but also visually appealing.

As a Dessert Maker, you will play a vital role in creating an array of sweet treats that delight our customers and enhance their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and create a variety of desserts, including crepes, waffles, sundaes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the dessert-making process.
• Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
• Collaborate with delivery staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of desserts during service hours.
• Upsell dessert items to customers, enhancing their dining experience while contributing to overall sales.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring all items are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all desserts are prepared efficiently within service timelines.

• Strong culinary skills with a focus on dessert preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
• Experience in upselling techniques within a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous.
