The base location is St Mary Cray or Edinburgh, with travel required across SGN’s Southern and Scotland networks for site inspections and stakeholder meetings.We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Here’s how you will contribute…What will you be doing day to day?Managing a team of designersProduction, appraisal and approval of standard and complex designs for various gas supply types to domestic and commercial MOBsProducing technical reportsEnsure designs are compliant with the relevant Legislation and technical standardsWork with operational teams on application of designsManage any design variations on projectsContinual development of design processes and documentationWork with the Building Safety Regulator, Local Authorities and other 3rd parties on planning and approval of designsProvide technical support on MOBs as needed within SGNSupporting the wider Network Management team with other tasks when requiredWhat you will needChartered or Incorporated Engineer (or equivalent experience with a commitment to attaining accreditation)Experience in Engineering Design is h
