A creative and well-resourced mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a committed and adaptable Design & Technology Teacher to join them from January 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis. The position is for two days per week (Thursday & Friday) and offers the opportunity to teach across KS3 to KS5.What you’ll be doing:Delivering engaging DT lessons to students across all key stagesPlanning and resourcing practical and theoretical lessonsEnsuring a safe and effective workshop environmentSupporting student achievement through detailed assessment and feedbackContributing to department projects and extra-curricular activitiesWhat we’re looking for:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essentialEnhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non-negotiableRelevant UK-based teaching experience – essentialKnowledge of Health & Safety standards in DT classroomsPassion for design, innovation, and student successNot quite the right role?
