Part-Time Dental Nurse / Receptionist (Hybrid Role)

Location: Belmont Dental Practice, Gerrards Cross, South Buckinghamshire
Hours: Part-time (e.g. 2–3 days per week – flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: £13 - 15 per hourn

We are an independent, fully private dental practice looking for a Part-Time Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our supportive and welcoming team.

This is a hybrid role, combining chairside dental nursing with front-of-house reception duties, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and patient interaction.

About the role

You’ll split your time between:

• Chairside dental nursing
• Reception duties

You’ll suit this role if you enjoy patient care and don’t mind answering the phone with a smile. With a clear and structured rota you will know what your working week looks like.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during clinical procedures
• Preparing and maintaining surgeries
• Decontamination and cross-infection control
• Welcoming patients and managing appointments
• Answering phone calls and handling patient queries
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records

About you

• GDC registered dental nurse (essential)
• Confident communicating with patients in person and on the phone
• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask
• Comfortable switching between clinical and reception duties
• A team player with a positive attitude
