• We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our thriving dental practice in Manchester, United Kingdom. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and managing front desk operations efficiently.
• Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
• Manage the reception area, greeting patients and scheduling appointments
• Handle patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Maintain accurate patient records and update the practice management system
• Process payments and manage financial transactions
• Coordinate with dental laboratories and suppliers as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Contribute to the overall efficient running of the dental practice
• Qualifications
• Dental Nursing qualification (e.g., National Diploma in Dental Nursing)
• Current GDC (General Dental Council) registration
• Previous experience as a dental nurse and/or receptionist is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
• Proficiency in dental practice management software and general computer skills
• Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying updated with industry standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required
