- If you're a detail-focused Qualified Dental Nurse with a keen interest in leading a Decontamination team, looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and professional environment, look no further than The Dental Surgery, at the Corn Exchange in London.
- Full time Hours available - 40 hours per week.
- Typical working hours are Mondays to Fridays, with the occasional Saturday.

- About you as a Decontamination Lead
- The Decontamination Room is the hub that keeps the whole practice running smoothly.
- This is more than just a backroom role: you’ll be the go-to expert for decontamination and infection control, making sure every instrument and piece of equipment is ready for safe patient care. If you love structure, precision, and taking real ownership of your work, this is your chance to shine.
- We welcome your application to our Decontamination Lead vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications
- Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Specialized Decontamination Training is desirable
- A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
- Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues, and providing exceptional standards of care.
- A Decontamination Lead is a vital part of our dental team, ensuring the safety and well-being of both patients and staff by maintaining high standards of infection control and decontamination practices. Substantial experience in a dental setting, including chairside assistance, infection control, and decontamination areas is crucial, as well as an understanding of relevant guidelines like HTM 01-05 for compliance.
