  • About the Role
  • We're seeking a data science intern to join our post-bind operations team. The post-bind operations team is responsible for all the activities that happen after an insurance policy is issued—including policy management and claims processing. This role focuses on building critical infrastructure to support these processes, including data ingestion capabilities and data stores for essential documents such as claims and policies used in reporting and modeling.
  • You'll be fully integrated into the team from day one with structured training, mentorship, and hands-on involvement in real-world operational projects. Your work will directly impact our ability to manage and analyze data throughout the policy lifecycle, improving our operational efficiency and modeling capabilities.
  • What You'll Work On
  • Build data ingestion capabilities for post-bind processes
  • Develop and maintain data stores for critical documents (claims, policies, etc.)
  • Clean and organize large datasets for analysis and reporting
  • Create data infrastructure to support modeling and operational needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, underwriting, and technology
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
  • You're an Ideal Candidate If
  • You're pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field (or have equivalent experience)
  • You have proficiency in data science and AI
