- As a Data Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data systems that power decision-making and innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into clean, reliable, and actionable insights, ensuring data pipelines are robust, efficient, and future-proof. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern tools and cloud environments, driving data architecture and enabling analytics across the business. Accountabilities
- Build, manage, and optimize scalable data systems and pipelines, while contributing to their overall architecture.
- Transform, organize, and evaluate raw data into clean, structured, and reliable datasets.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to turn business needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate and combine data from multiple sources to support analytics, predictive, and prescriptive modeling.
- Continuously monitor and improve data pipeline performance, quality, and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of a semantic layer and self-service analytics for internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for new data acquisition, enrichment, and automation.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in DBT, SQL, Python, and data orchestration frameworks (Prefect or similar).
- Proven experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, data mining, and big data processing.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining pipelines in cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency with relational databases and handling semi-structured/tabular data.
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Lightdash or Hex.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Competitive annual gross package between €38,000 – €44,000.
