We are working with a leading asset manager that is expanding its data capabilities and looking to hire a Data Engineer to support the development of their modern data platform. This role is suited to someone with strong technical foundations in SQL and Python, an interest in building data products, and the communication skills to work effectively across a growing data environment. Key responsibilities: Design and enhance a range of data solutions using SQL, Python and solid data transformation skillsPlay a key role in moving existing datasets into Snowflake and building out new pipelines in Python to support analytics and AI use casesTake ownership of day-to-day data upkeep, including tweaks and improvements within the current T-SQL environment and occasional work in C#Work closely with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver robust, scalable data outputsGet involved in the firm’s growing focus on AI and broader data governance projects as the team and platform evolve We are looking for: Strong skills in SQL, Python,C# and hands-on experience building or maintaining data productsGood understanding of data maintenance practices and quality controlExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical detail to non-technical stakeholdersEarly-stage exposure to Snowflake and Python developmentCloud experience (AWS preferred but not essential) This is an exciting opportunity to join an established asset manager and help shape the evolution of a modern, Snowflake-based data environment with clear pathways into AI and advanced data projects.
