NKG Statistical Unit is Neumann Kaffee Gruppe's central research body, providing objective, fundamental information on the coffee market. For our group company, NKG Statistical Unit Ltd, we are looking for a Data & Business Analyst (f/m/d). The position will be based in London and reports directly to the leader of the company. Your responsibilities Creation of management reports and decision templates in an understandable, visually prepared form (dashboards, presentations). Development and application of analysis models to identify patterns, trends, and forecasts to support group companies in strategy definition. Data consolidation of group companies, including the creation & the maintenance of consolidated sales/purchase statistics for all NKG export and import companies, evaluation based on specific criteria, e.g., certifications or customer groups. Close cooperation with the holding company, regional management, and subsidiaries. Building a knowledge database about the market, potential business partners, and competition in collaboration with internal knowledge carriers, internal and external data sources. Preparation and support of the year-end audit regarding certified coffee sales. Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with relevant data protection and compliance requirements. Ad-hoc consulting on short-term market developments. Preparation of financial KPIs as a support for external communication with banks and other stakeholders. Gathering data from different sources, cleaning & processing of incomplete data. Your profile Completed studies, minimum bachelor degree with an economic focus, preferably with a specialization in statistics or a comparable qualification. Relevant, several years of experience in data analysis/business intelligence, ideally in the commodity sector. Deep macroeconomic understanding. Experience with Microsoft applications especially excel and with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Experience in handling and evaluating large amounts of data. Practice in data forecasting/modelling is a plus. Knowledge of data programming languages e.g. Python, SQL, M or R is a plus. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. High attention to detail, when required. Ability to prepare complex data in an understandable way for different target groups (management, specialist departments). High communication skills and persuasiveness ("storytelling with data"). Independent, structured, and result-oriented working style. Team player and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration. Adaptability and problem solving mindset. Curiosity about new technologies and trends in data analytics.
