Where you’ll be working: As a Data Analyst Apprentice Level 4 at Baxi you’ll be working within the Service Quality & Process Improvement team. What you’ll be doing: Your role will be central to the development and success of Baxi, you’ll be working on updating current reports and moving new ones to Power Bi while also exploring new methods for things like forecasting using machine learning/more complex statistical methodology. You will be supported at all times by your team and your dedicated mentor to understand our current data landscape. Who We’re Looking For Technically Curious: You aren't satisfied with “copy and paste”, you want to automate it. You want to understand why the data looks like that. A Translator: You aren't afraid to ask a stakeholder, "What decision are you trying to make?" and then translate their complex answer into clear logic. A Future Analyst: You are excited by the prospect of learning specialist data tools like SQL, Power BI, and Data Modelling to help us move away from legacy spreadsheets. You will support our main goal to delivering the right information, to the right people, at the right time. What you bring (Essential): Logical Problem Solving: You enjoy puzzles and can break a complex problem down into small, logical steps. Curiosity & Confidence: You are happy to speak to stakeholders, ask "why?", and challenge the status quo politely. Resilience: You can self-motivate when a problem doesn't have a clear answer immediately. Data Aptitude: You are comfortable with technology and have hands on experience with Excel (formulas, lookups) or dabbled in other technical tools. …then you could be perfect for this role.
