  • Job Description

Role Purpose

  • The D365 Power Platform Developer will support the design, development, and delivery of solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the M365 Power Platform. This role is essential in helping the business streamline operations, automate processes, and improve data visibility through the effective use of Microsoft technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to build scalable, user-friendly applications and automations that meet evolving business needs.

Main Duties

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Customize and extend Dynamics 365 applications using out-of-the-box configurations with experiences of custom plugins, workflows, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Assist in integrating D365 with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party systems.
  • Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights and analytics.
  • Contribute to backlog management and help prioritise development tasks.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
  • Participate in unit and peer testing, deployment, training, and documentation of solutions.
  • Support DevOps pipelines, solution packaging, and environment management (development, test, production).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in across multiple environmental tenants.
  • Stay current with Microsoft updates, features, and best practices related to the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Core Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with M365 Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (e.g., Specifically F&O, but experience with Sales, Customer Service, Field Service would be beneficial).
  • Familiarity with Dataverse and data modelling principles.
  • Basic understanding of integration tolling (eQube-Mi) and techniques plus APIs including the Graph API.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience of integrating AI capabilities including Copilot.
  • Experience of the Atlassian suite including Jira.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, but also comfortable to work independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) is a plus.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400) are desirable but not required.
