Completes technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes and supports in planning and managing these tasks. You will perform client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). You will perform any aspects of product field support, including system hardware and software, medical or laboratory devices and equipment, and systems networking. You will provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. You will serve as a customer contact on technical and service-related problems. You will diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. You will determine the most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. You will prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. You will provide expert remote or on-site servicing, testing, and maintenance of the most complex and advanced Varian Medical Systems (VMS) equipment according to instructions and company guidelines to ensure that customers’ equipment operates efficiently at all times. You will require no direct supervision. You will provide phone support/remote assistance to customers and to Field Service Representatives as required to achieve resolution of service need in a timely manner. You will order spare parts for assigned customers including replenishing spare parts kits for warranty and contract customers, to ensure they can operate their VMS equipment according to technical and safety guidelines with the highest level of satisfaction. You will input detailed records of service visits into company information systems, including technical problems, actions taken and parts employed to correct these problems, to ensure accurate updated customer maintenance information is available to other VMS parties. You will maintain up-to-date technical documentation, in order to permanently keep informed regarding all operating characteristics, design factors, technical performance and developments of VMS products. You will maintain a high degree of professional knowledge and safety consciousness according to VMS guidelines in order to perform activities under the safest working conditions. You will play a instrumental role in the development of new service techniques and the writing of service documentation. To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.varian.com/ Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge You hold a bachelor’s or above degree in bio-medical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, etc. You have 2-5 years of experience in related fields. You are fluent in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken You have sound knowledge in and professional experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, testing equipment used for verification, checkout and calibration of electronic equipment. You have sound technical knowledge in and professional experience with micro-computers/PC based systems. You have a customer-focused attitude. You are an expert at defusing the most difficult customer situations. You are articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication. You are experienced in operating computers and have debugging skills. You have the ability to identify and repair complex software and network problems. You are proficient in diagnosing and solving complex mechanical problems, including simple vacuum leaks. You are capable of identifying and resolving imaging system defects.
