Casual Curriculum & Quality Officer opportunity starting ASAP Opportunity to provide a broad range of education administrative and operational support to academic staff to meet the education needs of the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning HEO 6 Step 1 $70.63 per hour plus Superannuation About the opportunity The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning is seeking a Curriculum & Quality Officer to provide curriculum management support, including the production of Faculty Handbooks and other curriculum support services. Working closely with the Coordinator, Curriculum and Quality, the successful candidate will provide teaching and curriculum support services, including reporting, in line with academic requirements and the overall timetable for the School. Your key responsibilities will be to: coordinate the compilation of academic content and materials prepared by academic staff for coursework programs of study, including documentation required for the curriculum academic approval process maintain the curriculum information in University systems (such as Sydney Student and Sydney Curriculum) and curriculum publications such as the handbook provide teaching and curriculum support services, including reporting, in line with academic requirements and the overall timetable for the work area work on course reviews and other faculty school education tasks. About you a tertiary qualification in a relevant field with more than 2 years of relevant work experience in a tertiary Education provider demonstrated experience managing or reporting on curriculum information effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) together with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement, along with the ability to prioritise workload during busy periods excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes extensive knowledge of University policies and procedures and administrative processes within a tertiary environment. Sponsorship / work rights for Australia Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires valid work rights for Australia.
