premium British lifestyle and menswear brand focused on craftsmanship, timeless design, and high-quality goods. We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) Specialist to help us improve the performance and UX of our Shopify store. Your job will be to audit the current site experience, identify quick wins and longer-term improvements, and guide us through ongoing testing to optimise for conversions, AOV, and checkout efficiency. You’ll collaborate with our remote team (Shopify VA, Designer, and Email Marketer) and provide actionable insights to increase conversion without compromising our clean, premium brand aesthetic. ⸻ 🛠 Responsibilities: • Conduct full CRO & UX audit of our site (homepage, collection, product, cart, checkout) • Identify areas of friction or opportunity using tools like GA4, Hotjar, or session replays • Deliver a prioritised roadmap of CRO recommendations • Coordinate with our VA and Designer to test layout, copy, and UX elements • Set up or guide A/B tests for key changes (e.g. CTA placement, badges, layout changes) • Monitor site performance monthly and report on CRO impact (conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV) • Provide ongoing suggestions for upsells, cross-sells, bundles, and product hierarchy ⸻ ✅ Requirements: • Proven experience improving Shopify conversion rates (direct portfolio examples preferred) • Expert understanding of UX heuristics, mobile-first design, and user journeys • Strong analytical skills using GA4, Hotjar, Lucky Orange, or similar tools • Ability to communicate clear, structured insights and priorities (we value clarity) • Collaborative mindset — works well with design, dev/VA, and marketing team • Bonus: Experience optimising for premium or lifestyle/fashion eCommerce brands • Bonus: Experience with post-purchase optimisation or checkout customisation ⸻ 💼 Project Details: • Type: Freelance / Remote • Hours: ~10–12 hrs/month • Rate: £60–£80/hr • Length: Ongoing • Timezone: UK or 3–4 hr overlap preferred ⸻ 📩 To Apply: Please include: • 2–3 examples of eCommerce sites you’ve improved, and what results you helped drive • Brief outline of your UX audit or CRO process • Tools you use regularly (e.g. GA4, Hotjar, testing platforms) • Availability for the next 1–3 months
