This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate towards the beginning of their credit control career who is looking to develop and progress within the credit industry. The Credit Control Manager is looking for someone who is ambitious, driven, hungry to learn, and ready to build a career and progress within the company.Duties include:Responsible for the day to day management of a ledger (approx £3 million a month / 80-90 live accounts).Responsible for managing the allocation of cash receipts for your allocated ledger.Proactively contacting customers to chase any outstanding monies and to deal with any customer queries. Reporting on a regular basis to the Credit Control Manager on the position of the ledger and problem accounts, and discussing the course of any action where applicable. Creating and maintaining customers’ accounts and running credit checks on existing and new customers. Assisting in the refining of the existing processes and procedures to help maximise the cash collection. Create, initiate, and promote new ideas and processes. Build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally, ensuring high standards of service are always provided. Handle disputed accounts and negotiate with clients to bring payment in line with terms. Skills/Experience required:1-2 years' credit control experience within a B2B environmentA strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.<li
