Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a Credit Control Assistant to work with the Credit Control Team based in our Ringwood office chasing debt from customers for Nurture Pest Control within the Nurture Group.
Job Purpose
As a Credit Controller the successful candidate will work alongside the finance team to ensure that customer payments are paid in a timely manner and the debt ledgers are managed accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Manage own aged debt ledger
- Chase customers daily
- Run reports from our ERP, Access Dimensions
- Posting receipts, allocating payments
- Reconciling accounts
- Query resolution
- Work closely with the Invoicing team to ensure queries are rectified in a timely manner
- Ensuring up to date and transparent information for the relevant managers is provided
- Assisting with reports for Management, as and when required
- Assisting Head of Finance with ad hoc project work as required
- Liaising with the Accounting team at Head Office
- Assisting with the integration of tasks related to Credit Control for new acquisitions.
Skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in a Credit Control position is essential.
- Previous experience of working alongside various sections and teams in Finance.
- Experience of working well as part of a team.
- Experience with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups etc is desirable.
- Experience with financial systems, access dimensions desirable.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
