The successful Credit Controller will take ownership of monitoring outstanding balances, contacting customers to ensure timely payment and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records. Strong organisational skills will be used to carry out day-to-day responsibilities that include but are not limited to issuing statements, setting and reviewing credit limits, reconciling accounts and investigating payment discrepancies. Communicative skills will be used when managing escalated debt, building relationships with key customers and collaborating across the team. Ideally you will: Have proven experience in a Credit Control role, with a strong understanding of complex debt recovery processes.Be confident using accounting systems and Excel and other Microsoft products.Show excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple accounts efficiently.Possess outstanding communication to handle and resolve queries and chase debts effectively.
