About The Role: We are looking for a suitably experienced Credit Controller to join the accounts team at our Head Office in Mytholmroyd (near Hebden Bridge), where you will be an integral part of the finance function helping to provide suitable controls for the business. Key Responsibilities Processing the daily sales batches on the 'Service' systemTransfer of daily sales invoices onto the finance systemProcess key account monthly invoicing and supporting documentationDistribution of sales invoices as requiredSetting up new customers in an efficient manner including background and credit checksLiaising with other areas of the business to ensure customers' requests are catered for to deliver excellent customer serviceRecord, research and resolve invoice queries efficientlyArrange credit notes or refunds approval (where applicable)Building relationships with customers to ensure issues are resolved appropriatelyDistribution of account statements and ''dunning'' letters as appropriateLiaising with external debt collectors if appropriateOther ad-hoc duties necessary to support the Finance Director and the finance team Key Performance Indicators: Number of days taken to resolve customer issues
