The credit control function is commercially critical, and this role is central to it. What's the role? You'll take ownership of a defined ledger within a busy, revenue-generating practice group. You'll be responsible for: Managing high-value, high-volume client accountsProactively driving cash collection performanceActing as the first point of contact for invoice queriesLiaising with senior internal stakeholders and external clientsLeading on complex query resolutionIdentifying risk and escalating appropriatelyRecommending process improvements to maximise cash flowSupporting colleagues during high-pressure periods This isn't a back-office processing role. You'll be visible, you'll influence outcomes, and you'll build relationships across the business and externally with clients. What do you need? 2-3 years' experience within credit controlExperience managing high-value or high-volume ledgersExposure to professional services or another fast-paced environmentConfidence dealing with senior stakeholdersA target-driven, self-motivated mindsetSolid negotiation and persuasion skills But more than that, you'll bring curiosity and accountability.
