This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting without the full responsibilities of a teacher.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in to maintain the continuity of learning when a Teacher is absent. Your main responsibility will be to ensure students are focused and productive, following the work that has been prepared for them. You'll be the person who keeps the momentum going, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Distribute and explain pre-set work, ensuring students understand the tasks.
• Effectively manage classroom behavior, promoting a respectful and focused atmosphere.
• Address student questions and provide guidance on the tasks.
• Deal with any immediate issues or incidents, reporting them as per school procedures.
• Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and return it to the appropriate department.
• Act as a positive role model for students, upholding the school's high standards.
