Key Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom environment and supervise pupils during pre-set work.
• Deliver and introduce learning activities provided by the absent teacher across various subjects.
• Implement the school's behaviour policy consistently and professionally to maintain a positive working atmosphere.
• Ensure all students remain on task and focused on the learning objective.
• Respond to student queries and provide support to keep learning flowing.
• Collect completed work and resources at the end of the lesson and return them to the appropriate department.
• Report any serious issues or concerns regarding behaviour or safeguarding immediately to a senior member of staff.
• Maintain accurate registers and records of student attendance.
• Supervise pupils on external activities or trips where required.
• Promote the inclusion of all students, fostering a diverse and supportive learning environment.
