Academics are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support Secondary Schools across Staffordshire, who are in immediate need for flexible Cover Supervisors to step in and support classes on a daily basis. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, teaching assistants, or anyone passionate about education who wants to develop their classroom experience. The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher, managing behaviour, and maintaining a positive learning environment. You'll work across a variety of subjects and year groups, giving you valuable insight into school life. Classes will typically be Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. What We're Looking For: Confident communication and classroom presence.A calm, professional approach.Previous experience working with young people (e.g., schools, youth work, sports coaching etc).A genuine interest in supporting young people.An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one (can be processed through Academics).Strong subject knowledge across a range of subjects.
