We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working in primary schools in the Merthyr Tydfil area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.
Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
What is required:
Experience working with young people (experience in education is desirable but not essential).
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
A degree is required (depending on your experience)
A confident, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
A commitment to supporting students' learning and well-being.
A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained by managing student behaviour.
Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work provided.
Provide support to students where needed and manage classroom resources.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
