Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise Students: Manage classes during the short-term absence of a regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and focused on their assigned work.
• Deliver Pre-Prepared Work: Distribute and explain work that has been left by the absent teacher, and ensure students have the necessary resources.
• Maintain Discipline: Uphold the school's behavior policies and manage classroom conduct effectively and fairly.
• Provide Assistance: Answer student questions and provide support to ensure they understand the assigned tasks.
• Report Back: Report on student progress and any behavioral issues to the Head of Department or senior staff.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Personal Qualities: Punctual, reliable, and adaptable with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Qualifications: A good standard of education (e.g., A-levels or equivalent).
