Hiring Unit: Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology Course Number-Section and Title (CRN): EDPT 204 - Creating and Using Media for Learning (CRN: 2469 ) Course Description Creating and using media for learning. The course reviews audio-visual education (text, visuals, audio, video, and augmented reality), media and information literacy for K-11, higher education, and society, and how data are represented and used in education and research in different disciplines. The rationale and underlying principles for the design, production and effective use of media are emphasized. This condition does not apply to applicants who have taught the course at least twice. If the applicant has not taught this course previously but has taught in the hiring unit, they are eligible to apply. Adherence to evolving program requirements concerning course content and program-developed competencies; course content and references must reflect the most current advances in the field. Additional Information Effective dates of appointment are December 29, 2025 to May 1, 2026. Course dates are from January 5, 2026 to April 14, 2026.
