Post 1: Permanent, 37 hours per week
Post 2: Fixed term for 12 months (maternity cover), 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced administrators to join our friendly and supportive Course Administration team based in Registry and Academic Services. We are a university wide-administration service responsible for our students’ academic records from enrolment right through to graduation.

In this busy and varied role, you will take responsibility for a suite of student academic records, creating, checking and updating as necessary to support students’ academic progress and eventual award. You will also assist with the implementation of new processes as part of our drive for continuous improvement.

Working closely with colleagues across the team, you will be the primary point of contact for the course records you manage, providing timely information and advice to staff and students.

With GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above in English and Maths and educated to Level 3 (A’ Level standard) or with significant administrative experience, ideally in the education sector, you will be a team player and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills. You will have strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach. Demonstrable problem-solving and multi-tasking skills will be invaluable in this role.

We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).

The fixed term post is for 12 months, however, as the post is linked to a maternity absence the end date is subject to change.

The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. Informal enquiries are welcome to Nicky Nutton, Senior Course Administration Officer, via email n.k.nutton2@hud.ac.uk

If you are a current student at the University, you are welcome to apply for part-time roles of 16 hours or less per week, unless you are a part-time postgraduate student, in which case you can also apply for full time roles, subject to any visa requirements.
