Job Title: Production Operative Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire Salary up to: £27,500 pa Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 8 hour day between 6am-6pm Monday to Friday (dependant on the production schedule) Our client is a well-established supplier & manufacturer of bespoke packaging. Based in Letchworth Garden City, they are looking to hire a Production Operative to work as part of a busy team, running machines producing high quality, bespoke boxing & packaging. Main duties Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture bespoke productsFollow strict standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times, to ensure efficient and safe production processesAdhere to accreditation quality, hygiene, and health & safety policies in placeConduct product quality checks during manufacturing, and on finished products, to ensure they are carried out to ensure all items and products meet all specificationsAssemble components as and when required Skills required Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.Must have the ability to measure and check dimensions & sizes accurately.Good arithmetic skillsExperience in a busy manufacturing team environmentFlexible approach with a can-do work ethic and must be a great team player.
