Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager - Corporate Tax DepartmentDue to expansion in the Corporate Tax Department, we are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Bury St Edmunds office. This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified, or have a strong desire to pursue the CTA qualification, along with at least two years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Tax. A solid understanding of corporate tax compliance and prior exposure to corporate tax advisory work is essential. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and the capacity to perform well under pressure are critical attributes. Key responsibilities will include assisting the Corporate Tax Directors in delivering high-quality compliance services for a range of corporate clients. This will involve preparing and submitting R&D tax claims and contributing to various corporate tax advisory projects. The role also requires experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching junior staff members.
