- Job Description
- This role is based in our 5 Howick Place office.
- Reporting into the Head of Business Process Excellence you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end R2R processes. This role involves designing, implementing and standardizing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, executing on key projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with various stakeholders across regions and functions to achieve operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.
- The role requires strong stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to define the R2R strategy and ensure that this is executed through key projects, continuous improvement and process standardisation/simplification. This role will need to support and develop requirements for some of the One Informa initiatives where these touch R2R processes.
- Informa is regularly integrating new businesses, and this requires the GPOs to work closely with the M&A and Integrations team to align on approach. This requires the development of a to be state while considering what process exceptions make sense to enable these integrations to be successful. Post integration the GPO will need to work with the various teams to work to standardise and simplify these exceptions where appropriate.
- Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
The R2R GPO is expected to assume the following key accountabilities and responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required
- Define, implement, maintain and manage the global R2R process, ensuring standardisation and simplification of processes.
- Work with the Delivery team to embed process enhancements while working to transform R2R processes ensuring alignment to process standards and policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, streamlining workflows, and implement best practices incl understanding Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with key stakeholders including the delivery teams, Other GPOs, Divisional Finance Teams (incl the Controllers and CFOs), Balance Sheet Controller, Group Finance, IT, etc to align processes and work on key projects.
- Review and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor process performance, analyse data, and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R process.
- Lead change management efforts across R2R (with appropriate support) to ensure smooth adoption of process changes and new technologies within the organization.
- Provide Project oversight, Steering Committee support incl 2025/2026 planning and tracking across R2R projects in collaboration with the GBS PMO
- Integrations support incl M&A and Informa International
- Ensure R2R processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies. Mitigate risks and issues identified by the GPO, Delivery Teams, RACM reviews and Audits associated with the R2R processes .
- Collaborate with IT to implement and optimize R2R systems and tools, ensuring they support the global process requirements.
- Review R2R policies, documentation e,g, Standard Control Procedures and controls by making recommendations for adjustments and/or new policies as required while keeping existing documentation up to date for any changes
- Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure key teams and stakeholders understand and adhere to the global R2R processes.
- Focus on enhancing the customer experience by ensuring month-end issues are understood and addressed, support timely and accurate revenue recognition and where appropriate advise on technical accounting needs e.g. trading architecture across projects.

- Capable of adapting to changing business needs and environments as well as being able to deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to be pragmatic when designing solutions to get the best outcomes for Business and GBS teams
- Proven ability to work to deadlines.

- Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (eg ACA, CIMA etc)
- Extensive experience in Record to Report processes, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
- Proven track record of process change, optimization and continuous improvement.
- Strong Stakeholder management experience including the ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Informa ERPs (SAP ad Oracle) as well as an understanding of key R2R related software e.g. Blackline.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broad multi-functional team
- Familiarity with automation and transformation in the R2R domain
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications
