Job Title: Control Systems Engineer Location: Scotstoun. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Up to £51,900 (dependent on skills and experience) What you’ll be doing: Develop IPMS Functional Specifications and liaise with the sub system owners to ensure the functional specifications workSupport stakeholder engagement with internal and external customersReview supplier documentation on behalf of IPMS team to develop the functional specificationsSupport configuration management of Platform Management SystemDevelop River Class Destroyer Controls & Instrumentation solutionSupport Sub System Leads and support delivery of all aspects of engineering deliverablesCreate & Maintain allocated IPMS Documentation as required by the projectIdentify, manage and mitigate product safety issues across the product/service area Your skills and experiences: Essential: Experience in an Engineering Functional Design disciplineExperience of working on large, multi-layered projects in a multi-disciplinary, matrix management environmentKnowledge of the engineering life cycle especially with regard to the achievement of project phase milestones. Understands the relationship between activities in different phases of the engineering lifecycle Desirable: Working knowledge of BAE Systems LCM processes & toolsExperience of working on Defence projectsSupervisor Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) experience Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional)
