As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Control Software Engineer to complement their established professional team and deliver machine control system solutions allied to a range of automated machinery-based projects. Tasked with writing and developing software, PLC & HMI coding for various automation projects, as a Control Software Engineer you will also be responsible for the electrical design and creation of machine control system solutions for special purpose automated machinery projects. Other duties will include delivering control and safety systems that comply with the requirements of the machinery directive and appropriate applicable standards, and electrical system design, selection of components and generating detailed circuit diagrams as required. Based near Leicester, you will also be responsible for the integration of various robots, including SCARA, Delta & 6-axis and will liaise extensively with customers, suppliers and team members, so effective communication skills at all levels are essential for the position, and you will be comfortable in working both autonomously and as part of a team dedicated to delivering projects within budgetary and timescale constraints.
