Are you an experienced Engineering Supervisor ready to take the next step in a high-profile, dynamic environment?
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Contract Supervisor to manage a team of static engineers, ensuring the seamless and safe delivery of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works at a key site in Salford Quays. This is a critical role that requires a strong focus on technical compliance, team leadership, and operational excellence.
Salary : £45,000 per annum
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of static engineers, overseeing the day-to-day running of the shift.
- Manage day-to-day HR issues on site and support the development and motivation of the team.
- Conduct performance monitoring and productivity checks for internal staff and sub-contractors.
- Participate in the 24/7 maintenance cover (including an on-call rota) for all building engineering services.
- Ensure the completion of all PPM and Reactive Works in accordance with contracted specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Primary focus on Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) consideration.
- Ensure the highest standards of statutory compliance are maintained, including Legionella Management.
- Proactively manage and co-ordinate all statutory maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supervising and managing a team of engineering staff in a facilities maintenance environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across various Building Engineering Services.
- Demonstrable expertise and commitment to Health & Safety compliance and procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex information and draw logical conclusions.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach to maintenance and service delivery.
