Role: Contract Management OfficerType: Interim 6-month contractSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceRemote: Largely remote with occasional on-site attendanceLocation: Nottinghamshire Sellick Partnership is partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit a Contract Management Officer on an interim basis. The responsibilities of the Contract Management Officer will be: Supporting the maintenance and population of a newly implemented contract management systemCapturing, validating and updating contract-related data to ensure accuracy and completenessEnsuring contract information aligns with internal governance and contract management proceduresMonitoring contract award information and maintaining an up-to-date contract registerAssisting with the publication of statutory notices on relevant public procurement portalsWorking with stakeholders to improve visibility and consistency of contract informationProducing and maintaining reports and trackers using Excel to support contract oversight. The ideal candidate for the Contract Management Officer role will have: Previous experience working with contracts, contract registers or contract management systemsA good understanding of contract management principles and public sector best practiceAwareness of public procurement regulations, with knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 being advantageousStrong Excel capability, including working with complex spreadsheets and data setsA proactive and self-sufficient approach, able to work with minimal supervisionExcellent attention to detail alongside strong analytical skills.
