Position Overview
- Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will take full ownership of Risk Ledger’s content strategy, brand narrative, and external communications. You will be responsible for establishing Risk Ledger as the authoritative voice in Active Supply Chain Security, ensuring our point of view is clear, credible, and consistently expressed across the buyer journey.
- You will lead how Risk Ledger shows up in the market — shaping the stories we tell, the assets we produce, and the signals we send to buyers researching risk, regulation, and supply chain security. This includes ownership of flagship content, thought leadership, organic channels, PR alignment, and narrative assets that support demand generation, field activity, and community engagement.
- This role sits at the intersection of brand, content, and GTM execution. You’ll partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Field, Community, Sales, and our PR agency to ensure content is not just high-quality, but commercially effective.

Why You'll Love It Here and What You'll Do
- Own Risk Ledger’s content and communications strategy, with clear accountability for narrative consistency, content quality, and authority-building across UKI, Nordics, and US markets.
- Establish and evolve the Active Supply Chain Security (ASCS) narrative, including language, proof points, examples, and messaging frameworks that anchor campaigns and GTM activity.
- Lead the development of flagship content pillars mapped explicitly to buyer mindset and revenue stages (–3 Awareness → –1 Consideration → 2), ensuring every major campaign has a clear anchor asset.
- Act as the senior content owner across the business, partnering cross-functionally with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Field, and Community to ensure content is purposeful, reusable, and aligned to GTM priorities.
- Build a scalable content engine, reducing reliance on one-off assets and increasing reuse across formats, channels, and pods.
- Own thought leadership and external communications, working closely with our PR agency and executives to secure high-credibility placements, commentary, and insight-led coverage.
- Oversee organic channels (organic social, SEO direction, newsletters), ensuring they reinforce authority, narrative consistency, and discoverability — not just activity.
- Introduce and scale non-written content formats (e.g. short video, visuals, toolkits, templates, peer stories) to support modern buyer behaviour.
- Set clear standards for content briefs, prioritisation, and quality — reducing noise, increasing signal, and protecting focus.
- Track and report on content performance using a mix of quantitative and qualitative signals (engagement, search visibility, campaign impact, sales feedback).
What you’ll have
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS senior content roles, ideally in mid-market to enterprise environments.
- Proven experience building strategic content programs, not just producing content.
- A strong track record of shaping narrative, thought leadership, or category positioning, especially in complex or technical domains.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Demand Gen, Sales, Product Marketing, and PR teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compelling stories.
- A strong editorial instinct — you know what’s worth saying, what’s not, and why.
- A commercial mindset: you understand how content supports trust, deal velocity, and pipeline, even when it’s not directly lead-generating.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment, where prioritisation and judgement matter as much as execution.

- Experience in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or regulated industries
- Experience working with PR agencies and executive teams
- Exposure to category creation or challenger-brand positioning
- Experience building content for community- or field-led GTM motions

- Salary range
- £80,000—£90,000 GBP
