Content Comms & Social Media Officer Location: Outskirts of Cardiff - office based for first 4 weeks Job Type: Temporary (approximately 10-week contract) Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Hourly rate: £19.80 per hour (annual equivalent £38,682) My client is a key public sector organisation who are looking for a skilled Content, Comms and Social Media Officer for a period of approximately 10 weeks. This role involves delivering high-quality communications and engagement strategies for various audiences, ensuring clear understanding of the organisation’s aims and vision. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain and update content across digital platforms including the website and social media.Support and contribute to the organisation’s social media strategy, ensuring content is engaging and aligns with organisational objectives.Working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts for key stories to publish on social media channels including Facebook and LinkedIn as well as uploading onto the websiteSupport with website refresh project ensuring content is user focused and SEO compliantPublish media releases and stories for the website Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree-level education or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, or marketing.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Able to come up with creative solutions to communications needs.A good understanding of digital marketing/social media and its role within the communications mix.Experience of managing social media accounts in a high-profile organisation.Managing and protecting house/organisation style and corporate identity/image.Experience of creating high quality and engaging communicat
