- CONCEPT ARTIST INTERN
- What You'll Do
- You'll join the Fortnite Ecosystem team as a Concept Artist Intern and help shape the visuals of upcoming content releases in Fortnite. As a concept artist, you'll be hands-on, contributing to new projects with visual ideas for characters, weapons, props and environments. You'll also work merging world renowned IPs with the Fortnite brand to come up with interesting new ideas for never before seen content.
- In this role, you will
- Create concept art for assets in the Fortnite Ecosystem
- Sketch ideas for branded items, weapons, props, and environments
- Refine ideas with call outs, texture and material options, colour scheme options and orthographic views where needed
- Create inspirational art pieces to envision locations in development
- What we're looking for
- Online portfolio required showcasing digital art and design
- A keen artistic eye, able to separate asset design and ideation from rendering and presentation
- High standard of communication and relationship-building skills
- Able to iterate quickly with thumbnails, roughs and ideation
- Skills to refine an idea to a decent standard for 3D asset creation
- Skills to refine an idea for artistic presentation i.e. internal key art
- Blender knowledge (For 3D blockout to paintover workflows) is nice-to-have
- This internship has a flexible start date in 2026. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
