Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time (35 hours/week)
Rate: PAYE up to £24.33 per hour

The Role:
We are seeking a Competent, Experienced, Dynamic, Proactive, Self-Assured, and Autonomous Compliance Manager (Fire Lead) to manage fire safety compliance across Worcestershire County Council. The successful candidate will ensure all statutory obligations and internal policies are met, provide expert guidance, and maintain a proactive approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead fire safety compliance across the organisation

Ensure all essential knowledge, skills, and qualifications criteria are met

Provide advice and guidance on fire safety policies and procedures

Conduct audits, risk assessments, and inspections

Maintain accurate records and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams

Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practice in fire safety

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in compliance management, ideally in fire safety

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards

Competent, dynamic, proactive, and autonomous working style

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in a hybrid environment with minimum 2 days in the Worcester office per week

Benefits:

PAYE hourly rate up to £24.33
