The role of an KYC & Conveyancing Administrator plays a critical role in safeguarding the business from money laundering risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of AML/KYC regulations would be desired. This role will also enable the employee to gather a broad understanding of the compliance department
Primary Responsibilities
* Dealing with day-to-day enquiries on SmartSearch, such as issues with completing
the verification.
* Monitoring and investigating unusual or potential screening results and escalating
any concerns to management.
* Conducting thorough due diligence on new and existing customers to verify their
identities and assess the level of risk they pose.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all AML/KYC activities and
decisions.
* Inputting Companies House authorisation numbers into Inform Direct.
* Reissuing expired SMS and email verification requests after review on Smart Doc
(expired links, various abandoned searches, those that rejected Privacy Policy).
* Liaising with SmartSearch support on general issues and escalating to senior
management when needed (helpdesk support).
* Reaching out to clients to help with any issues in completing the search/checks.
* Monitoring/tracking complete status.
* Reaching out to property managers and clients to request contact details in order to
complete ID&V checks.
* Inputting data into systems: Inform Direct, Dwellant, report servers, etc.
