The Opportunity Are you an experienced Marketing and Communications professional who is available for 12 week temporary contract to join a busy department within the Public Sector? We need someone who can hit the ground running, is good at multitasking and can manage quick turnarounds at short notice. You will cover all the basic communications skills such as content creation, producing basic graphics and press releases etc. You will be working on a full-time basis 8.30am – 5.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and then 8.30am – 4.30pm on a Friday. This business offers hybrid working and you would typically work from home and have one day in their offices on a Wednesday. Hourly rate = £16.56/hour Key responsibilities Help design, plan and deliver marketing campaigns from conception through to completion, within brand guidelines and managing the contributions of others to ensure deadlines are met.Work proactively to implement a Communications and Engagement Strategy in line with stakeholder communication needs and local and national campaigns to support the delivery of key business objectives.Produce content across a wide range of channels, using specialist knowledge of individual channels and audiences.Assist in the production of content for and maintenance of the intranet.Deal with press enquiries, facilitating communication with the local media.
