This role is pivotal in driving cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and risk mitigation while aligning procurement activities with programme goals and objectives. Skills and Experience Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement and Airborne Commodity and/or related field in a complex manufacturing environment Ability & experience to operate independently within a small Commercial & Supply Chain team with a measurable contribution towards the achievement of programme and business goals for all procurement activities. Cost Account Management experience to monitor, manage and report procurement financial forecasts in support of programme execution. Negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills that addresses supplier non-performance and dispute resolution. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing requirements with product, operational and customer needs. Able to build strong supplier relationships to foster innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement. Experience with negotiating and managing Agreements that ensure compliance with Governmental and regulatory requirements Knowledge of import/export legislation requirements (ITAR/EAR/UK Export Control) Desirable Strong commercial acumen Experience of FAA/CAA/EASA/MAA regulatory requirements. Process improvement tools and initiatives that drive efficiency Related MCIPS/BA/MBA or equivalent Responsibilities Implement and manage a resilient supply chain, based on market trends, cost drivers, and risk analysis to maintain customer operational continuity. Act as the primary focal point for procurement activities for the programme and escalation point to resolve supplier relationship and contractual issues (delivery, quality, pricing and compliance) Develop procurement labour and material estimates in support of internal and/or customer proposals Support and input into regular programme financial reporting requirements related to procurement spend and is responsible for managing and reporting Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) for procurement. Responsible for forecasting and achievement of sales and cash payables. Identify and manage supply chain risks and opportunities in support of programme financial reporting and execution Participate and finalise supplier agreement negotiations and utilise contractual terms to impact the business favourably Collaborate with legal and finance teams to manage contracts and risk exposure Ensure competitive bidding practices are employed to support preferred supplier selections. Track and manage supplier performance using KPIs such as cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness. Influence multi-disciplinary teams and develop strong, positive partnerships to achieve measurable operational and programme targets Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Plan and execute supplier visits, in conjunction with supplier quality, to assess qualification plans, standards, audit readiness and supplier performance. Support and undertake internal and external regulatory/compliance audits and manage closure of procurement related findings/issues.
