  • Drive ongoing process improvement and automation initiatives, including data aggregation, reporting, and workflow enhancements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commodities and broader regulatory developments, ensuring timely updates to processes and controls.

Your present skillset

  • 5+ years’ experience in commodities markets, with a background in business analysis, change management, or regulatory reporting.
  • Proven track record of delivering commodities projects such as setting up new markets, implementing regulatory reporting solutions (e.g. REMIT), and defining front-to-back trade workflows.
  • Strong understanding of physical and financial commodity products (e.g. Oil, Power, NatGas, Metals) and associated processes (confirmations, settlements, collateral/margining, VAT).
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience supporting system implementations including design discussions, testing, and UAT.
  • Data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar) with ability to aggregate and interpret complex datasets.
  • Comfortable working independently, proactively driving projects forward, and also managing hands-on deliverables.
  • Open and adaptable to working on projects across asset classes, applying transferable skills to different regulatory regimes and business needs.
  • Inquisitive mindset with high attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity.
