• SCOPE OF POSITION
• A commis Sommelier will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day wine service of the restaurant in the brand's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing your tasks to the highest standards.
• RESPONSIBILITIES (OR AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITIES FOR SENIOR POSITIONS)
• Operation
• Knowledge of menu and all products.
• Deliver beverages to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
• Assist the Sommelier team with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware and glassware.
• Ensure food and beverage items are served in accordance with safety standards
• Constantly seeking to improve wine knowledge.
• Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
