About
As the Commercial Manager for a live £200m+ infrastructure project, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and profitability of the venture. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all commercial aspects of the project, from initial planning to execution and beyond. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to drive financial performance, manage contracts, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement commercial strategies that align with project goals.
- Manage contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while minimising risks.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimise potential commercial and contractual issues.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to enhance project outcomes and collaboration.
- Lead a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
What we require:
- Strong understanding of project management principles, contract law, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and project management tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams.
