• We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially astute finance professional to support our property services business. This role will play a key part in bridging finance and commercial operations, ensuring robust financial reporting, effective credit control, and proactive cashflow management. • Key Responsibilities
• Month-End Reporting & Reconciliation
• - Assist in the preparation of monthly cost and value reconciliations across projects and services.
• - Support the production of accurate and timely month-end financial reports.
• - Collaborate with commercial teams to validate financial data and ensure consistency between operational and financial reporting.
• Cashflow Forecasting & Management
• - Prepare and maintain rolling cashflow forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• - Monitor actual cash performance against forecasts and provide variance analysis.
• - Liaise with credit control to ensure timely collection of receivables and resolution of payment issues.
• Commercial Support
• - Work closely with commercial teams to support the preparation and submission of applications for payment.
• - Ensure alignment between commercial valuations and financial reporting.
• - Provide financial insight to support commercial decision-making and contract performance reviews.
• Credit Control & Risk Management
• - Assist in monitoring customer credit limits and payment terms.
• - Support the resolution of aged debt and disputes in collaboration with operational teams.
• - Contribute to the development of credit control policies and procedures.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• - Report key financial metrics and insights to senior leaders, including risks and mitigation strategies.
• - Build strong working relationships across finance, commercial, and operational teams.
• - Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from leadership.
• Skills & Experience Required
• - Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and cashflow forecasting.
• - Experience in a commercial finance or credit control role, ideally within property services or a related sector.
• - Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• - Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
